Turkish shipyard Turquoise Yachts has officially delivered its largest superyacht to date, the 79-meter Nympheas, formerly known as Project Toro. The vessel has left the Pendik facility in Istanbul and is currently en route to Durrës, Albania.

A New Milestone for Turquoise Yachts

Nympheas represents a significant achievement for Turquoise Yachts, further establishing its reputation in the global superyacht industry. This marks the first collaboration between Turquoise Yachts and renowned British design studio Harrison Eidsgaard, resulting in a striking neoclassical exterior with a distinctive funnel structure that extends from the main deck to the sundeck.

Constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the yacht showcases a dual-tone exterior paint scheme, exuding both elegance and modernity. One of its standout features is an 8.5-meter swimming pool, emphasizing luxury and leisure. Additionally, the semi-submerged Neptune Lounge offers guests a unique underwater viewing experience.

Designed for maximum comfort, Nympheas can accommodate up to 14 guests in seven lavish cabins, including a spacious owner’s suite. A dedicated crew of 21 ensures top-tier service and hospitality. While the yacht’s interior details remain undisclosed, Harrison Eidsgaard’s involvement suggests a blend of contemporary elegance, high-end materials, and functional yet luxurious spaces.

The successful delivery of Nympheas further solidifies Turkey’s presence in the competitive superyacht industry. Traditionally dominated by Dutch and German shipbuilders such as Feadship, Lürssen, and Oceanco, the Turkish yacht-building sector is gaining momentum, offering high-quality custom builds at competitive prices. With over 100 superyachts currently in production, Turkey ranks among the top five yacht-producing nations.

Turquoise Yachts, in particular, has emerged as a formidable competitor to European yards, attracting international clients with its commitment to craftsmanship and innovation. Since its inception, the shipyard has completed over 30 superyachts and has multiple projects over 70 meters currently in development.

Future Projects and Innovations

Following the delivery of Nympheas, Turquoise Yachts is focusing on several high-profile projects, including Project Arrow, a 76.3-meter hybrid-propulsion yacht currently being outfitted at the Pendik facility. Designed by Team for Design – Enrico Gobbi, with interiors by H2 Yacht Design, Project Arrow will be Turquoise’s first hybrid-powered yacht, incorporating a battery-assisted propulsion system for enhanced efficiency and sustainability.

Additionally, Project Vento, an 87-meter superyacht designed by H2 Yacht Design, is also in the works. Set for delivery in 2025, it will feature a Tour de France Blue hull, a drive-in tender dock, and a 6.5-meter glass-sided pool, combining advanced engineering with ultra-luxurious amenities.

With a growing focus on eco-friendly technology, hybrid propulsion systems, and innovative layouts, Turquoise Yachts continues to push the boundaries of modern yacht building. As the demand for sustainable yachting solutions rises, the shipyard is poised to incorporate cutting-edge green technologies into future builds.
