Italian designer Mauro Giamboi has revealed Edge, a new 81.1-meter superyacht designed for adventure in the world’s most remote and icy regions.
With a strong steel hull, a reinforced bow, and special technology for exploring extreme climates, Edge offers both safety and luxury for travellers who want to experience the Arctic and beyond.
Built for Extreme Conditions
Edge is designed to handle the toughest environments. It has heated railings to prevent ice buildup, special navigation systems for difficult waters, and an advanced sonar system for underwater exploration. The yacht also includes a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) for scientific research. With a range of 6,000 nautical miles, Edge can reach some of the most isolated places on Earth.
The yacht features five decks and has space for 12 guests and 22 crew members. The owner’s deck is private, with a spacious cabin, a personal balcony, and a pool. There are two skylounges—one on the owner’s deck and another on the upper deck—both offering stunning views and space for entertaining. The upper deck also includes the yacht’s control room and a second pool at the front.
The main deck aft is the yacht’s main social area, with direct access from guest cabins and the VIP suite. It features an infinity-edge pool, a bar, sun loungers, and fold-down platforms that allow easy access to the water.
The beach club is another highlight, offering a spa, massage rooms, a bar, and a lounge with direct sea access. It is enclosed for warmth in cold climates but can open up to a terrace when the weather is nice.
For guests who want to unwind, the sundeck—reachable by elevator—has a comfortable lounge and a bar, making it the perfect spot for relaxation.
