Echo Yachts has secured a contract to build a 57-meter, full-custom twin-masted catamaran sailing superyacht.

Echo Yachts, a leading Australian custom superyacht builder, has undertaken its most ambitious venture to date: the construction of the ASC57, a 57-meter (187-foot) adventure sailing catamaran. This groundbreaking vessel, set to become the world's largest of its kind, is currently under construction at the builder's state-of-the-art facility in the Australian Marine Complex, Western Australia.

This cutting-edge superyacht is a collaborative effort, bringing together top names in yacht design. Echo Yachts has joined forces with renowned Dutch sailing yacht experts, Dykstra Naval Architects, and Australian aluminum multihull specialists, One2Three Naval Architects. This partnership aims to deliver a revolutionary catamaran that redefines luxury and eco-conscious performance.

A key feature of this design is its innovative regenerative power system. Twin shaft generators and a battery storage system enable the ASC57 to harness energy from its sails, facilitating silent operation and minimizing reliance on conventional fuel sources. Furthermore, the superyacht incorporates a CPP driveline, enhancing fuel efficiency by utilizing the main engines without the need for additional generators.

Designed with environmental sustainability as a core principle, the ASC57 boasts aluminum hulls, full sail-powered propulsion, and advanced power regeneration systems, making it an eco-friendly alternative to traditional motor yachts. The vessel's streamlined design allows for extended cruising distances with minimal environmental impact.
